Current Project: Away From Home
A work years in the making, now in the home stretch.
I began writing Away from Home in 2017, driven by a story that wouldn’t let me go. By 2020, the manuscript was complete–but life, as it often does, asked me to set it aside. For a while, the story waited quietly. Then, in November 2023, a gift from my parents–a book about self-publishing–reignited the spark. Their encouragement came at just the right time.
Since January 2024, I’ve been immersed in editing. It hasn’t been easy–being a wife and mother of four means time is precious and progress is often slow–but this book matters deeply to me. Every hour I carve out brings it closer to the finish line.
Away From Home is a labor of love, and I can’t wait to share it with you when the time is right.
